The Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc, commonly known as PGBI, can be likened to the human body in many ways. Just as our bodies continually need to eliminate waste—whether it’s things like boogers (kulangot), sweat (pawis), snot (sipon), grime (libag), dirt (dumi), dandruff (balakubak), or feces (dumi) —to stay healthy and work properly, the PGBI must also let go of certain ineffective members who are no longer positively contributing to the organization. This process is crucial for both the human body and the PGBI to remain effective and robust.

If we dive deeper into this analogy, we see that waste in our bodies tends to accumulate if we don’t remove it. Over time, this buildup can lead to various issues, resulting in inefficiencies or even health problems. Similarly, when members of the PGBI are not attuned to the organization’s core values or objectives—meaning they aren’t actively helping to push the mission forward—they can cause disruptions within the group. Just like how excess waste can negatively affect the body’s performance, ineffective members can hinder the organization from being cohesive and successful.

When the PGBI chooses to expel members who aren’t contributing, it’s very much like the body undergoing a cleansing process. This necessary action allows PGBI to focus more clearly on its mission, much like how our bodies become healthier and function better when they eliminate waste that no longer has a purpose. In both instances, whether we’re talking about PGBI or the human body, it’s essential to remove what isn’t beneficial to facilitate ongoing growth, vitality, and success.
