Born on October 4, 1968, Levi’s life narrative is one of enduring passion, community service, and environmental stewardship.
With a profound commitment to public service, Levi dedicated 15 years and three months working within the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Taytay. His tenure was marked by a relentless drive to improve the livelihood of his fellow citizens. Recognized for his innovative approaches to local development, Levi’s impact was deeply rooted in his intrinsic understanding of the community’s needs. In 2019, he chose to retire early, a decision reflecting both a fulfilled career and a desire to pursue his lifelong interests in marine conservation and eco-tourism full-time.
Levi’s affinity for the ocean is evident in his prowess as a certified diver. An Advanced Diver and a Green Fins Assessor, he embodies a rare blend of adventure and advocacy. His affiliation with Reef Chick Divers further highlights his dedication to sustainable marine practices and education, ensuring the conservation of the marine ecosystems that he loves dearly.
In 1986, Levi became a member of GUARDIANS Center Foundation, Inc. (GCFI) Rose Chapter in Tondo, embarking on a journey that would deepen his connection to the diver community. His subsequent involvement with the full-fledged PGBI (Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc.) further solidified his role as a leader among divers and conservationists, providing mentorship and guidance to aspiring divers and advocates alike.
In addition to his diving credentials, Levi has embraced his roots as a farmer, intertwining his agricultural background with his role as a tour guide. This dual expertise allows him to offer visitors a unique experience of Palawan that encompasses both its terrestrial beauty and aquatic wonders. Levi’s tours are not just about exploration; they are educational voyages that promote awareness about sustainable practices and the importance of preserving the natural environment.
