Dear PGBI Members,
Greetings!
As you may know, the recent issuance of the Membership Book, commonly referred to as the Red Book, by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has provided a significant opportunity for all members of the Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc. (PGBI) to be recognized officially. This document not only validates our commitment as a legitimate organization but also reinforces our mission to foster unity and professionalism within our ranks.
However, some members may discover their names missing from the Red Book. We want to address this matter to ensure everyone feels included and valued within our brotherhood. If you find that your name is absent, please do not feel discouraged or apprehensive about reaching out for assistance.
In accordance with the National Secretariat’s requirements for inclusion in the Red Book, it is essential that members are bona fide individuals in good standing. This entails having taken the Oath of Allegiance as mandated by the PGBI Constitution and By-Laws (CBL). Furthermore, to substantiate your status as a legitimate member, you will need to provide proof, including your certificate of membership, valid IDs, and, for ranking officers, documentation such as the Memorandum of Affirmation or Promotions.
Instead of allowing such discrepancies to create unnecessary tension or feelings of exclusion, we urge you to take proactive steps to rectify the situation. If you are committed to being a part of the legitimate PGBI, we encourage you to approach your chapter president or chairman immediately.
Your chapter leadership is equipped to assist you in this process. They can facilitate the registration and signing of your name, along with the names of other chapter members, ensuring that everyone is accounted for in the Red Book. This collective approach not only strengthens our organization but also fosters camaraderie among chapter members.
Let us not allow misunderstandings or feelings of being “onion-skinned” to isolate ourselves from our community. By engaging with your chapter leadership, you can help ensure that every dedicated member is formally recognized and that our brotherhood continues to thrive.
Together, let’s reaffirm our commitment to the PGBI and ensure that our unity is reflected in the Red Book. Thank you for your continued dedication and active participation in our organization.
In brotherhood,
Engr Melliardine “GS MEL” G. Gamet, PEE, PMP
National President/Chairman
