Judge Arthur L. Abundiente
Judge Arthur L. Abundiente, stands as a distinguished figure in the Philippine judiciary, currently presiding over Branch 25 of the Regional Trial Court in Cagayan de Oro City. His extensive legal career includes notable roles as the Acting Presiding Judge in several regional trial courts across Iligan City, Bukidnon, and Misamis Oriental, showcasing his commitment to justice and legal excellence.
Born with a keen intellect and a passion for law, Judge Abundiente pursued higher education at Mindanao State University, in Marawi City. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Economics in 1981, and subsequently completed another BSBA with a major in Marketing in 1982. His academic prowess led him to become the Chairman of the Economics Department within the College of Business Administration while simultaneously pursuing a degree in law. In 1987, he achieved academic distinction by graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Laws.
Prior to his esteemed appointment to the judiciary, Judge Abundiente had a thriving career in private legal practice, where he adeptly managed a diverse array of cases, encompassing prosecution and defense, election disputes, as well as civil and administrative issues. His expertise and dedication to serving the public were further demonstrated during his tenure as Senior Board Member of Lanao Del Norte, where he contributed to legislative efforts and community development.
In addition to his judicial responsibilities, Judge Abundiente is committed to legal education, sharing his knowledge and experience as a faculty member at both Mindanao State University and Liceo de Cagayan University’s College of Law. Here, he specializes in teaching Criminal Law and Criminal Law Review, inspiring the next generation of legal practitioners with his insights and dedication to the field.

Alongside the other two living legends, Comet provides invaluable guidance to the current administration, helping to steer the organization towards its goals.
